Thinking Outside The Theme: Using a Themed Collection Off-Theme with Brianna

There was so much that I loved about the Strong AF collection, but I think the Stanley sticker just won me over. I would’ve brought the whole thing for just that & and aside from the entire kit being made with my 3 most favorite colors blue, purple, and orange (coral) I really loved the message behind it.

I am always trying to get more of myself in my album and right now In 2024, I am making more of an effort to document me and my journey the good and the bad and though I’m not currently on any kind of health journey (I work out here and there but not consistent enough to document) with March being women’s history month I thought that this kit would be perfect for a page about me and decided to document a women’s empowerment even I recently attended.

What I love most about this collection is that even though it is fitness-inspired I was able to get not just this layout out of it but also a project life spread as well. The great thing about ALL of Traci’s collections is that they can fit your needs if you just think outside the box. This collection is perfect for spring, but it’s still pretty cold where I live so the rich blues and purples were perfect for the season.

I am a simpler scrapper, I like for the products I’m using to enhance my story and not distract. Aside from my photos, the words that I’m writing are my main focus and m goal in memory keeping is to dig deeper and tell more of those everyday moments that in the grand scheme of things tend to get lost.

I kept things simple by using two of the Travelers Notebook Signatures as my base. On the right, I used a TN Signature that had lines for journaling. Normally I don’t go for the papers that are lined but I loved it this time around. The flowers already came with the page so it took a lot of the guess work away.

I added a few stickers form the collection and that was it. This collections has a ton of titles that are fitness inspired but can work for a lot of different things.

I encourage you to find a collection that speaks to you. Whether it’s the message behind it or it’s just a fun collection that you enjoy. The most important part is that we get the photos off the phone and on to the paper.

Traci’s collections are great for beginners because they come with so much and are easy to navigate. You can make them as easy or complex as you would like for them to be. The opportunities are endless.
