Using Digital Papers with Cut Files in Silhouette Studio
One of the best things about working with digital product is that you can use them in such a way that there’s no waste, no clutter. By printing only what you’re going to use in any given moment, you can save ink, paper and space! Today I’m going to be showing you how to use your print and cut function on your Silhouette with a cut file to not only print just what you need, but also have your cutting machine do all the work of cutting out those circles for you!

Helpful Tips:
Always make sure your software is fully updated 99% of troubleshooting silhouette starts with updating your software
Click and drag from blank space on your canvas around all objects you’d like selected to select multiple objects
To select or deselect a single object in a group, hold down shift while clicking
To click and drag to copy, hold down “cmd+option” (ctrl + alt) while dragging. To drag in a straight line, add “shift”
To move a pattern within a box, choose “pan pattern” from the fill dialogue.
To Resize the pattern, change the percentage in the fill dialogue.
Always resize from a corner handle to resize proportionally.
When offsetting the cut line, make sure your individual cuts are far enough apart that they won’t overlap and cut all as one piece, unless that’s what you want!
Print on high quality full-sheet label matte photo paper at photo quality for the best print…not all card stocks are created equally so this can take some trial and error. I like Epson Premium Presentation Paper.
