Traci - True North
The strong lines of this sketch and column design made it a snap to scrap! I used the True North collection to scrapbook our sailing adventure!

Becky - Rooted
I love using a sketch as a jumping off point for a layout and Traci’s sketches are always such fun! I decided to use this one paired with Rooted to show off the love for gardening my daughter has developed. I pretty much stuck to the sketch although I used the TN papers for the three centre strips so they are not quite as long as in the sketch. I machine stitched round the outside of the patterned paper to ‘fence’ everything in and added a few wood veneer embellishments and puffy stickers from my stash to add a bit of different texture to the layout. I love that with sketches you can follow them to the letter or use them to inspire you!
Tarrah - The Manuscript
I always love to start out with a sketch if I find I am stuck with where to start when creating! Sketch #53 was great to be able to add multiple photos, and using the gorgeous The Manuscript collection, I documented my niece with her new keyboard she received for her birthday. I love the sheet music paper I added for the base and everything else that I added complimented my page perfectly.
Emiley - Keep Chasing Rainbows
Sketchy Sundays are my fav! This 3-photo sketch created by Traci is so cute and allowed me to make great use of my favorite scrapbook supply…paper! My photos were landscape orientation, so I decided to turn the sketch on its side and I really like how it looks. I chose to use the Keep Chasing Rainbows collection because it just makes me smile - I love the bright, happy colors and the beautiful embellishments. So fun!
Raechelle - Have a Nice Day $5 Sampler
Creating with sketches is always a wonderful way to kickstart a creative rut or to just go with the flow and let it be a guide to let the creativity flow. I decided to keep this layout pretty true to this sketch. I used the Have A Nice Day collection (aformer freebie) to create this fun and bright page.
I layered some of the TN papers and added a card and a mix of elements from the kit to keep this page simple, yet fun.
Vanessa - Weekender
This was such a fun sketch to create with. I loved all the layered pattern papers in the background and the three embellishment clusters. Right from the start I knew I was going to follow this sketch pretty closely. I kept the background exactly like the sketch but changed the title placement and clusters to work with my horizontal photos. Using this sketch allowed this layout to come together quickly and I could not be happier with the results. Hope you give this sketch a try for your next project.
