Tip Tuesday with Ophie: Creating a Title with No Alpha!

I don’t often use alphas on my pages. I don’t enjoy putting in the extra step it takes to add each individual letter and then arrange it on my page. Usually, I will use wordart, word bits or font to title my page. I’ll also mix them up, e.g. font with wordart. Sometimes, I’ll use a titled journal card.

For this page,  I went through the Smitten kit and looked at what would make a good title. Traci’s kits always come with stickers and several word art or bits so it always makes my scrapping easier with the variety available.

I picked this sweet photo of my girl to pair with Smitten. Since I was going with minimalist look, I opted to put the focus on her photo and then use a large title. I picked the LOVE word art and then one of the stickers to create the title “LoveYou”.

If you struggle sometimes with how to title a page, using what is available in the kit and fonts will often make it easier. I find that words already chosen for me that pairs well with my photos is a time saver.
