Smitten for Valentine's Decor with Celia!

I love decorating for all festivities but I recently realized that I don't have much Valentine's Day decor. So I went to the Traci Reed store and grabbed the Smitten collection to help me change that.

I started by printing my 2 favorite patterns the lips and a pink plaid to cover an X and O that I picked up from WalMart. I cover both letters in modpodge and stuck them to the backside of the patterns. When they were dry, I used a razor knife to cut them out, then why around them with sandpaper to clean up my edges. Then I grabbed some Elmer's wood glue to attach them together, tilting the O toward the X to look like they're hugging.

Next, I printed out the bead word Amore from the digital kit's embellishments. I glued it to some grey twine along with large enamel dots in-between to look like a giant friendship bracelet and hung it from the top of my XO.

After that I glued the "enamel pin" postal truck to a few layers of cardboard to be at the same depth as the X. Then I took all the envelopes in the sticker pack and embellishments, gave each of them a balloon and made them look like they were floating out of the back of the truck. I actually ran out of balloons and used a lollipop sticker to fill in and I love it

Lastly, I added another small cluster to the left side of the X to balance the embellishments. I love the little banners in the stickers and what's Valentine's Day without flowers? So I added them too.

I love how easily this came together using the Smitten collection. Traci's collections are amazing for documenting, but it's also super fun to take them off the page and make something you can look at all the time.
