Scraplift Saturday - Hybrid Team Member Becky!
Happy Scraplift Saturday!! Today the team is scraplifting the amazing Becky Gotch! Becky was a guest that I just couldn't let go from the team when her guest spot ended and I think if you scroll through her insta, you'll see why!
Cathy, Theresa, Ophie and Danica all created amazing layouts inspired by Becky's gallery, so scroll down to check them out!

Danica - Smitten
I loved looking through Becky’s gallery. She had so many great layouts that would be great for lifting. I knew I wanted to work with Traci’s Smitten collection so when I saw this particular page I knew that I found the one. The wood grain paper with the heart on it was a fave of mine and I hadn’t had a chance to scrap with it yet. I decided to decorate it with the stickers included in the collection to replicate what Becky did on her layout. To finish it off I used a not so great selfie of hubby and I in Venice. Even though the photo isn’t the best it brings a smile to my face and takes me back to a favorite memory. And isn’t that what scrapping is all about?!

Cathy - On The Go & Going Slow
Whenever I am prompted to scraplift another person’s work, I have a hard time picking one simple thing to be inspired by. Becky Gotch does a wonderful job documenting her memories mixing and matching many brands and collections. However, I was drawn in by a layout that used strips of washi on one side of the page. Using Traci Reed’s On The Go & Going Slow, I was able to choose different pattern papers rather than washi and scrap lift the same design. I always love finding different sources of inspiration and this is an easy way to get you outside your comfort zone. Give it a try!

Ophie - School Daze
I love the projects that Becky has posted to her Instagram. It made it challenging to pick just one to scraplift. I finally picked her cute birthday kittie page. I love how the layout is simply done with the focus on the photo of her kittie. I used Traci’s School Daze collection for my page.

Theresa - Felicity
Hi friends, Theresa here with a layout for my 6x8 Life Crafted album using the Felicity digital collection! Looking at Becky’s beautiful Instagram this layout popped out to me for the fun shapes. I love circles so much, and I also love how she plays with the negative and positive space here. As I was working with it, I also realized when you turn the shapes sideways it looks like a butterfly. I made this layout work for a two-page spread by splitting the two sides. Becky kept her layout very minimal with just two patterned papers and one embellishment cluster, so I tried to keep mine the same. I used one Felicity patterned paper within the shapes, and then laid the pages out on the second patterned paper just because I’ve found that these smaller spreads look so much warmer with a background pattern! Becky placed her title within one of the shapes so I also placed mine using puffy alphas from Cocoa Daisy and one of the words in the Felicity collection. A couple of things I did different were: the journal card underneath my photo, the journaling around the shapes, and two small embellishment clusters at the top and bottom of the layout. Thank you for the inspiration Becky!
