Making Mini Post-It Note Books from Scraps!

Hey friends! Allie from AllieScraps here, and  If you’re anything like me, when you get a new collection from Traci, you print it ALL…. and then have “orphan extras” around after you make like crazy… and then move onto the next project!  I am especially guilty of this with the Traveler’s Notebook papers and signatures, and I wanted to find a fun way to use some of those papers in a new way.

What You'll Need:

To start making these cute little covers, you'll need a few basic supplies:

  • - large paper scraps

  • - Light cardboard or cardstock (recycling a cereal box works perfectly!)

  • - Book binding templates for Post-it notes

  • - Glue stick or Xyron sticker maker

  • - Scissors and a pencil

How to bring it all together:

1. Start by tracing your book binding template onto the cardboard. This will form the sturdy base for your cover.

2. Next, trace the outside of the template onto your chosen scrapbooking paper and cut it out. This will be the outer layer of your cover.

3. Use your Xyron sticker maker or glue stick to adhere the paper to the cardboard.

4. Fold the paper over the edges of the cardboard, securing it with glue. It's like wrapping a present!

5. Add a contrasting paper inside for a pop of color and stick your Post-it notes in place. TaDa!! You've just created a cute little new home for your sticky notes.

I hope this is a quick and fun project to inspire you to use some of your stash! I know these are addicting to make, and I can’t wait to play with the other sizes for more projects!
