October Daily 2022: Days 6-10
I may be running a little behind, but my album is coming along nicely! Here are days 6-10 of my October Daily!
Day 6
Today’s layout is a simple page that’s an ode to my sweet girl’s golden years using the Goldenrod Foundation Pages I made in an earlier reel.
Thanks to the foundation page, this came together in a snap! I like to vary my pages between complex and more simple to avoid burn out during the season ❤️

Day 7
Even when things don’t go as planned, they can still be lovely in your album! These cookies (mainly the frosting) didn’t turn out right, but we still had fun making them!
I’m trying to incorporate more page protectors into my albums (it helps to vary the sizes and make the album more interesting, so I have TWO page protectors for this spread 😱 (who am I?)
I used the Citrus Twist Kits Spooky Stories collection and one of the cute envelopes I made in my Spooky Stories Foundation Pages reel!

Day 8
Another simple page from me for Day 8 of my album! I love the flexibility that working with different (smaller) sizes, page protectors and even using Traveler’s Notebook Signatures like this one from my Goldenrod collection gives me!
If I want to go all-in and get crazy I can, or I can tell a simple story with simple techniques and my spread still looks well-designed and “complete” to my eye!
I added in some stickers from Simple Stories that I felt added to the retro vibe and an alpha from Citrus Twist Kits and boom, done!

Day 9
Does anyone else have an emotional support iced coffee? I’m normally a caramel macchiato or iced coffee kind of girl, but everyone needs an emotional support PSL every now and then 😂😏
Thanks to the TN signature from the Goldenrod collection, half this page was already done for me, but to make it interesting, I created a page flip up to hide my journaling and add a little more to the page 😍
I also added a pre-made cluster from my #TRDDIYYourScraps Reel as my flip up and some alphas from the Autumn Thicket Collection from Cocoa Daisy 😍

Day 10
When you get dressed up and go to a local punk show, you take a bunch of photos! That meant I needed a way to include them at a decent size, so I employed one of my favorite tricks, the waterfall pull!
When you pull the journal card down on the left hand side, it begins to flip up the photos to reveal more underneath! This also gave me even more room for fun clusters and journaling labels on the back sides of the photos!
I mainly used papers and cards from Simple Stories, but added in some of my embellishments from the Citrus Twist Kits Spooky Stories collection. This was the first page I created this month that didn’t rely on a foundation page at the start!
