Day 26 is all about the 5k I made up in my head after I dressed in colors that reminded me of a pumpkin, lol! I used a full page photo and then I wanted to do some tonal stamping on these gorgeous stripes with Catherine Pooler inks and made my own background pattern!

Snuggly and warm? YES! This page for my October Daily uses my new Hearth & Hollow collection to tell the story of what a difference a year makes. If you've been following me since the beginning of the year, you'll know we lost our beloved Loki in January and adopted the god kittens (Ares & Apollo) just last month. I wanted to do a page about how it's the same but different around here and came up with this symmetrical beauty to reinforce the theme!

October Daily 2021 | Days 18-22
There's nothing like playing catch up with 5 days on one layout thanks to Spirit Week at school! My middle kid had a blast dressing up each day, but didn't take the best of photos so how do I showcase them all at a smaller size? A cascading flip up!
I used my October Mood collection for this page because that yellow and green match the school colors well, and then used the days of the week tags included in the Cocoa Daisy Gather collection for my tabs for "flipping!"
I created each of the "covers" for the photos in photoshop with the October Mood alphas in the digital kit and printed them all as one piece to make it easy to adhere them to the backs of each photo. Simple and fun!

October Daily 2021 | Day 23
October 23rd is our anniversary, so I always have to make sure to grab a photo of us! This year, we got to celebrate it on the day with dinner and I (gasp) actually put on makeup and did my hair! That’s a lot to ask in year 2 of a pandemic, I say!
I used the Hearth & Hollow collection for this spread + alphas from Cocoa Daisy as well as some leftover vellum leaves I cut for day 15, adhered with staples! A simple page that showcases our beautiful smiling faces!

October Daily 2021 | Day 24
Day 24 of October Daily and I just keep chugging along! Today I wanted to tell the story of the first time painting my kid’s nails (black, of course) and so I wanted an all black composition...something HARD to find in traditional scrapbooking supplies, so I went to my trusty fave, Kristin Cronin-Barrow’s new collection "Hocus Pocus Co" which is black, white, and pink all over! I pulled out just the black and white bits for this page.

I started off in photoshop to create that gorgeously layered mixed media background with embellishments in Kristin's collection and then worked my magic IRL with puffy paint over the top to mimic globs of nail polish! I finished it off with some sequins and then waited (FOREVER) for it to dry before I finished my page with some hidden journaling!
