Hello and welcome to the eighteenth edition of our fun series: Mix It Up Monday! Today the we’re combining Festive and All Is Calm + All Is Bright collections! These three collections mix and match in fun and different ways and I love seeing how the team rose to the challenge!

Check out the team’s examples below and I can’t wait to see you mix these three collections up too!

All Is Calm

The papers included in the All Is Calm collection are some of my absolute favorites and they looked so great with some of the 3x8 journaling cards that are in the Festive collection, so I just HAD to mix these two up! I created a super fun flip-up using the 3x8 journaling card and opposite of that card I placed lots of patterned paper layers behind where a future photo will sit. (Since I loved this layout so much, I decided to use it for a current photo once we start documenting December memories, instead of a photo from a past December.) I also adhered some of the Poinsettia flowers from the a Festive collection to the border florals and greenery from the All Is Calm Ellies and used those to frame the area I’d be placing this future photo. All in all, mixing up these two collections was so fun and the outcome was exactly what I was hoping it would be!

I love how All Is Calm and Festive look so different but the colors are so complimentary! The fun tree paper from All Is Calm is one of my favs - but it contains many of the colors that are also contained in Festive. The Houses from Festive as well as some of the other embellishments - go perfectly with All Is Calm and my photos too!

I always have a go-to template when I want to play with two different kits together (I even wrote a whole blog post about it showing several of them off!), and this challenge was no different! I loved combining the green papers of Festive with the greens and reds of All Is Calm, and the elements to decorate them all just play so nicely together to create this page of us going "Tree Hunting" this year!

All Is Bright

For my layout, I chose to mix the colors yellow, pink, red and teal from the Festive and All Is Bright kits.
I used a bauble cutfile from Paige and masked different patterned papers that blend well together. I mostly use elements from Festive but the ones from All Is Bright mixed just beautifully.

I was inspired to combine the beautiful Festive collection with the fun All Is Bright collection!
This project was created using several of the patterned paper from All Is Bright along with a few of the TN Papers from Festive. I love how both collections tie in together and the paper strips demonstrate the correlation wonderfully! The stickers from each collection mixed perfectly together to add the finishing touches.
