Inky Ideas with Evy - Aflutter Accordion Mini Album
Hello everyone! Evelyne here again on the blog with a tutorial post! Many of you had written to me to have the tutorial of my album Bloom & Grow last year and I decided to do it again for this spring, obviously with the brand new Aflutter collection! I love mini albums, especially the simple ones that give us the opportunity to make and customize them easily.
So to make this album you just need:
6 patterned A4 (or 8.5x11) papers printed front and back (I printed a monochrome side)
1 A4 (or 8.5x11”) white card stock for the cover + 1 piece of acetate, printed or plain, 10.5x9.5 cm (4 1/8x3 3/4”) you can replace the acetate with white card stock or with a patterned piece.
Strong or double-sided glue, ruler, pencil
And the fantastic stickers of the collection.
This album is made using a MAGIA DO SCRAP file called accordion box mini album and you can find it on the silhouette store (design ID: 402918). If you do not have a cutting machine I attach diagrams and measurements in the next steps.
Print 6 A4 papers from the Aflutter collection front / back
We will get 11 envelopes with these papers using the cut files.
We fold according to the video indicated and create fins where we are going to put glue / double-sided adhesive
Now that we have all the pockets ready we decide the order
And glue them together by putting glue in the central part
At this point we only have to cut the structure of the cover. In the picture you can see where to glue the first and last pocket and the magnet for closing.
In the video you will be even clearer the final effect.
Now just decorate our album as you like and insert your cards and photographs in your pockets.
I intend to insert photos and memories of the month of April but you can also celebrate spring by adding a pocket and creating a pocket for each week of spring. In the next few days I will show you my first cards!
I hope you enjoyed this album and the tutorial to make it. Let me know in the comments, good creativity to all!
Xoxo, Evy
