Hygge Season Chat-GPT Inspired Instagram Hop!

Happy 2024, everyone! And welcome to the very first TRD Team Instagram hop of the new year! Traci's got a new collection out called Hygge Season and the design team is coming in hot with an amazing and inspirational hop to inspire you!

We asked ChatGPT to give us layout ideas for the Hygge Season collection and it came up with some pretty inspiring prompts!

Check out all the prompts and layouts below!

Hygge Memories Scrapbook: Document your entire winter hygge journey in one scrapbook layout. What cozy memories do you want to cherish forever?

We have spent a lot of time over the last month, transforming our living room and taking it from uninviting to cozy! I wanted to do a layout that celebrated our new living room and the fact that my 19-year-old will now spend a little time with us, because it is so cozy, lol!

My new Hygge Season collection was the perfect match for this layout, and I love how the twinkle light background compliments, the twinkle lights of our “throne“ as we like to call it!

Coffee & Conversation: Document those heartwarming conversations over a cup of coffee.

Spending time with Mikayla, Tery and Kristin at our cozy breakfast to plan for the big Shower fiesta! I love being able to spend time with the Bride to Be celebrating her - and since her Shower is brunch themed, this is perfect place to sit down and talk over giant cinnamon rolls and coffee ! I loved using Traci’s kit to document our planning day with all the fun elements - especially the cross stitch hoops (my other favorite hobby!) The colors for this kit are perfect to for our cold winter outing.

Tea Time Coziness: Elevate your tea time with cozy essentials. What's your go-to tea for the winter season?

I decided to snap a pic when I was doing some reading under a cozy blanket while enjoying a warm, homemade chai latte!  It was definitely a hugge feeling!

Winter Warmth Fashion: Share your winter wardrobe essentials and the cozy vibes they bring!

Winter Storybook Magic: Dive into the magic of books you're reading this winter. Which tales warm your heart during the cold season?

For my prompt, I ran with the part that said to “dive into the magic of books you’re reading this winter”. I had already made a decision to work my way through my physical To Be Read pile in January and this was the perfect way to document it! I love all of the cozy reading references in this new collection!

Tea Time Bliss: Let's celebrate the art of tea time! How do you make your tea moments special?

This prompt calls for documenting tea time - and while I don’t drink much tea I am loving coffee drinks and cappuccinos right now! Recently River discovered a beautiful place in downtown Winston that does crepes and coffee called Pink Moon Cafe. I can go for crepes any day, and this was extra special because the cafe is housed in a historic home with such incredible architecture. I decided this called for a layout in my collage art journal. This year I want to include more ephemera and fun little flip details in my journals. I started my page with a gesso base directly on top of the distressed pages of my journal. I layered clear stickers printed from digital mixed media elements on top,  then I added some of the patterned papers and a little brown paper bag I had in my stash. The paper bag was the perfect spot for extra photos from our adventure, and the main photo for the layout is of the most adorable pink pay phone in the perfect little alcove! I attached the business card and some other ephemera pieces to the brown paper bag using a lovely pink velvet bow clip, and then I also added a few stickers around the page as well. The cozy vibes in the Hygge collection were definitely the perfect way to document this wonderful treat!

Mug Hug Moments: Highlight the joy of sharing a mug hug with loved ones. Who do you enjoy your cozy moments with?

I opted for the Mug Hug prompt and am so glad I did!! There are some really cute mug and book icons in the sticker packs of Hygge Season so I knew I wanted to feature those along with the word bits that matched my prompt.

I snapped a couple of selfies and told the story for my own story album about how my mug hug is actually when I get to enjoy a mug of

Coffee completely on my own! I love my family but I’m a solitary person and love these odd moments of tranquility shared with my mug alone!!!

Love this collection so much and was happy to include my favourite papers on this spread too. Use them up fast … because you can reprint them!!!!

Soup & Snuggles: Warm up your memories with the essence of soup and snuggles. Share your favorite winter recipes!

My prompt was Soup and Snuggles so I couldn’t resist using the lovely soup embellishments and telling the story of the Christmas soup my daughter makes us each year. I also just had to use that 3x4 card!

Cozy Reading Nook: Capture the magic of winter hygge by illustrating your favorite bookworm moments.

I have a LOT of bookworm moments because I’m an avid reader. Of those moments, my favorite is always when my kids join me and either “try” to read what I’m reading or read their own books right along side me. This new collection is absolutely perfect for documenting reading. For this spread, I cut up one of the 4x6 journal cards from the collection to use as my title and based the rest of my embellishments around this title, including a ton of the word phrase stickers and some more books!

Winter Cross Stitch Magic: Dive into the world of cross stitch and share your winter-inspired creations!

I’ve been cross stitching since I was 11 years old, and this is my first Christmas piece. I always felt like I didn’t want to have to put away something I worked so hard on and only have it on display for the few short weeks of the Christmas season. I found this kit online for a great price, so I decided to go ahead. I started on this piece on October 27th and finished it on December 13th. Instead of french knots on the trees, I added glass beads for the lights and ornaments. It turned out perfectly!

Winter Floral Delights: Dive into the beauty of winter florals. Share your favorite floral-inspired moments!

For my January monthly spread, my fussy-cut-loving-heart was so happy coz one sheet of printable has tons of florals. I used my trusted scissors and cut these by hand. For the boxes, I used both the TN signatures and TN pp. I love the vibrant colors so much and the beautiful patterns and cute elements! Perfect for my January monthly spread.
