I ove the city-lean of the Weekender collection so I decided to go all in with the “Around Town” add on and scrap some 6x8 pages of my sister’s visit to Downtown Knoxville a few years back!

The Weekender Collection was just what I needed to scrap this fun little adventure. Mama, my sister, and I used to take weekend trips to an estate sale about an hour from home. After shopping, we always treated ourselves to lunch. While we had a regular spot, we decided in early 2019 to branch out and try new places. That’s how we ended up at Panini Petes, a restaurant that had been featured on the Food Network. I ordered the sandwich Guy Fieri raved about, and it lived up to the hype! The word art and embellishments in the main kit and add-ons were perfect for capturing the joy of this weekend getaway, a delicious meal, and sweet time spent with my favorite people.

We seldom travel, and this collection is perfect for those rare photos of our travels. I love the little icons, word art bits and color palette in this collection. To create an illusion of velum paper, I made the opacity of the solid paper underneath the dotted one to 78%.

From city, to road trippin’, to eating out, this collection checks all the boxes. The traffic light made such a cute addition to my layout about a night parade we watched in Colorado Springs one September evening.

I love the Weekender collection because it is jam packed with everything you need for your adventures away from home. Whether it’s a weekend away or documenting a fun night out having dinner with friends, it’s going to be your go to kit time and time again! For my layout I used a template from fellow creative team member Cheryl of Fiddle Dee Dee. The layout came together quickly with all of Traci’s fun elements! The add on road trip mini was perfect for our trip to the National Corvette Museum.

The Weekender collection is the perfect to document all your summer travels both near and far. I used this collection to document a favorite meal from one of our vacations. I love the embellishments in this collection and the tile alphas are some of my favorites. This collection is one I reach for again and again.
