Day 6 of December Daily brought us to Friday Night Movie Night! My youngest really wanted to watch the new Jack Black Christmas movie where he plays Satan, accidentally summoned by a kid who misspelled Santa in a letter to the North Pole. The movie was cute enough, though I do believe the acting left something to be desired, but that made it more fun and campy!

Because I am Extra with a capital E, I made us a feast to go along with our pizza of hellishly delicious food that I wanted to document with the movie:

🧁Hellfire-Dusted Devil’s Food Cupcakes (dusted with ground red hots)
🌶️Dante’s Inferno Cheese Dip (baked jalapeño popper cheese dip)
🍭 Krampus Kanes (Oreo candy canes dipped in white chocolate and rolled in crushed red hots candy canes)
❄️ and I even picked up a bag of white cheddar cheeseballs and called them “Snowballs Chancing Hell”

I do amuse myself.

December Daily 2024 | Day 06

I decided to pair these photos with my “The Naughty List” collection (of course) and 2x2 squares since I had 4 photos, explanations of what they were, and a movie poster to scrap. I pre-printed the titles of the foods and explanations on journal cards (resized to 2x2) from the collection + an alpha from the digital kit for titling.

I also added a few filler cards resized to 2x2 and 2 pockets have sequin mixes and acrylic candy canes in them for a fun see-through bit. I closed those up with my fuse tool. To the outside of the 2x2 protector, I stapled a gold-foiled number circle from my Candy Coated Christmas collection on one side, and on the reverse, I added a patterned half-circle and Santa winking ;)

Behind the page protector, I blew the movie poster up to 4.25x8.5” and used one of my FREE 6-RING ALBUM TAB CUT FILES to stick it in my album so I wouldn’t punch through the words at all.
