December Daily 2021: Day 3 | Adventiosa!
I don’t always buy Advent Calendars, but when I do, it’s because there’s a theme 😂
Day 3 of my December Daily is all about the Lego Harry Potter Advent Calendar I got for Finn and you know I had to go full-Potter again!
I used The Boy Who Lived Collection for this page (because it’s perfect, duh) and had the thought that I wanted the right side to mimic an actual advent calendar, so I spent waaaaaay too long designing my advent calendar cut file in Silhouette Studio on the right so that it would be perfect! All 6 boxes were designed using 3x4 cards from the collection (sorry Ravenclaw, you’re not represented in this house so you got left out for visual continuity.)
Each one of the flaps hides journaling (the house outfits) or a photo.
On the left, I used the “Have You Seen This Wizard?” frame from The Boy Who Lived Collection as well as a paper cut down to size and then stacked on top of a wreath I made from pine bough pipe cleaners + string with snowflakes and beads (watch the video to see how!)
Lastly, I added the title “Adventiosa!” (ha, clever! BTW, it’s Adventi-O-sa, not AdventioSAAAA🤪) using some older letter stickers from Cocoa Daisy and another paper from The Boy Who Lived Collection.
