Creating a Custom Moon Shaker with Ali!
Hi everyone!! It is Ali, @funadventureswithali sharing a layout using the new Moonlit collection for the Traci Reed design team. I thought the colors and papers were perfect for these Halloween pics of me with Jack and Sally at Disneyland celebrating Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!
I decided to cut a circle out of a piece of vellum paper and hand stitched it with glitter white thread. I left a small opening to add some SpiegelMom Scraps sequins before sewing it shut. I wanted to give the moon an mysterious look with these sequins by making it into a shaker.
I used star die cuts to create the stars you see on the layout. For the larger yellow one I used the larger size and centered the middle size in the center to get the outline of the star. It’s fun to create another variation of stars. I pop dotted them and love how they pop on the page!
I added a few embellishments from the collection and love how well they worked with the Halloween pictures.
This is Halloween! Thanks for looking everyone and go check out this collection. So many different options you can use it for creating layouts!
Love, Ali
