Create a 3D Cut Out Heart Layout with Nicole!

Hey all, Nicole here with a new layout using the fabulous Over the Moon collection! I wanted to create lots of texture on this layout so I decided to make lots of paper strips with ribbon or twine under a cut out of a heart. I’m documenting me and my fam from pictures back in October.

I started by making the heart cut out on my cricut. I traced the missing heart onto another page for under the top part. I printed some of the patterned papers that almost read as solids. I then did some sort of edge effect on 2” strips, like a border punch or fringe. I layered all the strips down on the bottom page and added some ribbon and trim along with them.

I added my pic to the page with some leftover strips of the gingham blue paper. Now it was time to make some embellishment clusters. I added some floral clusters in three spots. I added the title to the top right cluster. I added a moon to the cluster by my photo. Then I added stars to all the clusters and also some balloons. I splattered with some red shimmer spray in my stash and used the nozzle to add some squiggly circle blobs. I then added my journaling around my heart.
