The Easiest 6x6 Print Tutorial You'll Ever Need!
Did you know that you don’t need a wide-format printer or any special tools to use TRD printables on 12x12 layouts? It’s true! In fact, I did a whole series on ways to use printables on 12x12 layouts with just an 8.5x11 printer HERE and all my stickers come with fussy cutting guides in addition to print and cut sheets!
Today, I’m going to show you how you can easily create the background I did on this layout using the True North collection in just a couple clicks!
First, simply open the paper you would like to print in your native OS photo viewer and hit print. In the print dialogue box, reduce the scale to 50% (half of 12x12 is 6x6) and print at your highest quality settings.
Repeat the process for all the paper you would like to use. For this page, I ended up with four 6x6 papers.
To create your triangles, cut your 6x6 paper on the diagonal and you will end up with 8 triangles ready to paper piece on your layout, no special prints or machines required - just good old 6x6 squares!
Now you can arrange them how you like on your page, my patterns basically made mirror images of each other across the layout:
Add some of the stickers or digital embellishments and you have a layout in minutes, with no fuss!
